Unique ZIP
The Unique ZIP format provides just one row per single ZIP code. This row is the municipality containing the USPS office (referred to as the Primary Record) and may or may not be representative of the tax rates of other communities sharing that ZIP code.

Basic
The Basic format provides the only a column for the total sales tax rate for all jurisdictions combined. Some ZIP codes encompass more than one jurisdiction, so in this format there may be multiple rows of the same ZIP to provide every combination.

Full Breakout
The Full Breakout format provides a column for the complete tax rate, as well as columns for each jurisdictional level including state, country, city, and special districts; and includes jurisdictional codes where applicable.
This format also provides an indicator of the the Primary Rate which is the location within a ZIP code containing the USPS Office. There is also an indicator for whether shipping is taxable.
Some ZIP codes encompass more than one jurisdiction, so in this format there may be multiple rows of the same ZIP to provide every combination. If there is more than one Special District, they are combined in one Special District column.
