We Survived a Ransomware Attack

Our subscribers know that on October 16, 2021 the Zip2Tax servers were shut down by a ransomware attack and our world went dark.  Rather than pay a ransom, we chose to rebuild our systems on new servers with newly re-written programs.

Since we were unable to contact our subscribers individually, we set up the Web site with details of the issue and a daily, sometimes twice a day, update on statuses.

For those who would like to look back at our daily communications, they can be found here:  zip2tax.wpengine.com

After the new year, we discontinued daily updates and launched the Website.

We never missed a sales tax table issuance; the API service was up November 10th; our online lookup service was up by November 23rd.

I can't say it enough.....

Thank you for your patience during this rebuilding process.

Thank you for helping us rebuild our customer database records.

Thank youfor using Zip2Tax Sales Tax Solutions!
