December 1, 2020 Sales Tax Rate Changes

by Teresa Farnsworth November 24, 2020

Being the last month of the year, most states are done with sales tax rate changes for 2020 except for one in Alabama, and an update for Manitoba province.  Watch out for January 2021 though….many updates are on the horizon.

The City of Magnolia Springs, Alabama, has increased their sales and use taxes from 2.0% to 3.0% effective on sales as of December 1, 2020.

The previously announced Manitoba province retail sales tax reduction that was effective July 1, has been deferred until further notice.

We added many more jurisdiction codes to the Colorado Sales Tax rate table for locations that have a zero rate.

Attention Prophet 21 subscribers:  You will see helpful updates in the December file format for your P21 ERP.
